Your Alaska driving record can be obtained in person by going to any Alaska DMV location, by mail or online.
By Mail
In order to obtain your driving record by mail, send a written request that includes:
- Legal name (printed)
- Alaska drivers license number OR date of birth
- Purpose for record (employment purposes, insurance, "clearance letter" or other)
- Personalized check or money order
- Telephone Number
- Signature

How to Request Your Alaska Driving Record Online
To request your Alaska driving record online, visit the Alaska DMV Driving Record page. Log in or create a My Alaska account, select "Driving Record Request" and pay the $10 fee. Once payment is complete, your driving record will be available for download. Be sure your printer is ready if you need a hard copy.
