How to Get Your Missouri Driving Record

Driver Records Without Personal Information

You can request a driving record that excludes personal details and only includes non-personal driving history, such as speeding tickets or other violations. Requests can be made in person at a Missouri license office or online. In both cases, you'll receive your records after you pay the required fee.

Driver Records With Personal Information

Access to personal information on driving records (e.g., name, address and license number) is restricted unless you qualify under DPPA exemptions or have explicit consent from the record holder. To request your own record, visit a Missouri license office with photo ID or submit a notarized Request from Driver License Record Holder (Form 4681) by email, mail or fax.

To access another individual's record, you'll also need their signed and notarized consent. Businesses with frequent requests can establish a MyDMV profile and obtain a security access code for submitting online requests. All fees must be paid when submitting your request.
