How to Get Your West Virginia Driving Record

A copy of your West Virginia driving record can be obtained for a fee of $5 through the West Virginia Division of Motor Vehicles.

The following requirements apply when requesting your West Virginia driving record:

• A copy of your valid driver's license or state-issued photo ID.
• Processing fee:
  • $7.50 with your name and driver's license number.
  • $8.50 without a driver's license number (include DOB and/or Social Security number).
• Mailing address for the record, if applicable.
